Danish Wild Ale aged in Port barrels

O Tanoeiro is a tribute to the timeless craftsmanship of its namesake - the coopers who maintain the barrels where raw liquids are transformed into refined libations. We started with a blend of one and two-year-old Danish Wild Ales, and then aged it for a full year in barrels that previously held some of the finest Cockburn's Port from The Douro Valley in Portugal. The complexity and mild acidity of our Danish Wild Ales form the backbone of this blend, while the Port wine barrels bring forth flavors of bright red fruit and a touch of caramelized sugar.
